The Historic Collection is a reissue series of historic instruments produced by Gibson Custom Shop.
This time, the 2017 Gibson Custom Shop /Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard HRM VOS Washed Cherry is now in stock!

This limited edition model has a lightweight mahogany back and "HRM (Hard Rock Maple)" top material.
The unique flex line of the maple wood is quite prominent, giving it a unique look.
In addition to the Les Paul's classic specs such as 1-piece mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard, it is equipped with long tenon, True Historic parts, glued with nickel wire, and tubeless truss rod, all of which are unique to the Custom Shop.
The neck shape is a C-shape with a good thickness, which is typical of the 50's. The finish is the usual cherry sunburst.

The finish is a "Washed Cherry" color, which is lighter and more subdued than the usual Cherry Sunburst, and the VOS finish has been applied to reduce the glossiness of the paint, giving it a very vintage-like look.
The binding is aniline dyed and stained, giving it a more aged vintage Les Paul look.

Two original "Custom Bucker" pickups are installed.
The warm and sweet tone of the Custom Bucker pickups, which were designed to capture the vintage Gibson "PAF" pickup sound, is a perfect example of the vintage Les Paul sound.
You can enjoy any sound from clean sound to distorted sound.

The condition of this guitar is VOS finish, so the paint is semi-glossy and the parts are tarnished since it was new.
There are no other major scratches or dents that stand out.
It comes with all accessories.

This is a 58 Les Paul with the "HRM" top, which has not been available in the market for a very long time in recent years!
