USED GIBSON / Chet Atkins SST Antique Natural [03]

The Chet Atkins SST is an electric acoustic guitar designed by Chet Atkins and introduced in 1986.
This one is from 1997 based on the serial number and is natural color. This is a spruce top, mahogany solid body electric acoustic guitar.
Ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl star shaped position marks.
A controller on the top side of the body controls volume, treble, and bass.

There are numerous dings, scratches, dings, and paint cracks throughout, giving it a dated look. There are paint splatter-like marks throughout. There is a slight ground noise when connecting to the amplifier.
There is a slight buzzing when operating the controller. 3 string peg's inner claw that inserts into the back of the head is broken, but it does not affect the performance as it is still fixed in place.
The metal plates of the volume and EQ controllers are dull due to age. The truss rod has more than 60 degrees left in the tightening direction.
The piezo pickup is integrated with the saddle and the string height is about 2.2mm at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 1.7mm at the 12th fret of the 1st string.
The hard case that comes with the guitar is original from that time, and has scratches and other damages.
