Gibson Custom Shop / 2016 True Historic 1959 Les Paul Reissue Hand Select Murphy Burst and Aged in Used condition!

The ultimate program, Hand Select x Tom Murphy, which was ordered as a Japan project after visiting the local Gibson Custom Factory, is a project where Tom Murphy not only ages but also paints based on the True Historic 59 Les Paul Standard.

Tom Murphy himself hand-sprays each one, so his own attention to detail is very large, and the aged finish is exquisite and wonderful. The hand-selected look is also excellent.

At 3.90 kg, it is a well-balanced piece with rich overtones, fat bass, and a clear, bright sound. The sound is bright, but without any high-frequency tininess, and the sharp edges have been removed, making it sound as if it has been played for many years. It has a very familiar sound as if it has been played for years.

The pickups are original Custom Buckers, and the pots are also original.

The guitar has been aged, so it is difficult to judge, but there is a certain amount of use. Playability is good including truss rod. The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity and a pre-pack checklist.

The price is high, but the sound and looks are well worth it.

現地ギブソンカスタムファクトリーを訪れ、日本企画としてオーダーした究極のプログラム、Hand Select x Tom Murphy。トゥルーヒストリック59レスポール・スタンダードをベースにトムマーフィーがエイジドだけでなくペイントも行う企画です。

Tom Murphy氏自ら1本1本ハンド・スプレーするため、彼自身のこだわりが非常に大きく、エイジドも絶妙で素晴らしい仕上がりとなっています。ハンドセレクトした見た目も素晴らしいですね。

3.90kgとバランスの取れた個体で倍音豊かでファットな低音、抜けの良いブライトなサウンドが特徴です。ブライトと言っても、ありながら高域のキンキンした感じが全く無く、尖った音の角が取れていて、何年も弾き込んだかの様なとても良く馴染んだサウンドです。まさに「らしいサウンド」を体験できるのではないでしょうか。

ピックアップはオリジナルのカスタムバッカーを搭載。POT類もオリジナルです。

エイジド加工のため、判断は難しいですがある程度の使用感はございます。プレイアビリティに関してはトラスロッド含め良好です。認定書やPre-Pack Check Listなど付属品も揃っているのも嬉しいポイントです。

お値段は高いですがそれ見合うサウンド・ルックスで時を忘れてプレイに集中させてしまうような素晴らしいギターです。
