USED KAY / Jazz Special Bass K5970V [11]

The K5970V is a reissue model of the KAY Jazz Special Bass.
Based on the original model introduced in the 1950s and 1960s, this reissue faithfully reproduces the tone of the original model using modern technology.
The semi-hollow body and wood bridge produce a full and warm tone. Whether fingerpicking or playing with a pick, you can enjoy the unique sound that combines attack and softness.
The slim neck is easy to play, and the lightweight design makes playing for long hours less tiring. The unique pickguard shape, bridge cover, and other visual elements give the instrument a strong visual presence, and while it maintains a classical atmosphere, it is also a practical instrument.
This model is also known for being used in the famous music videos of Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder, and has been passed down among fans.
The pickguard shows some curvature. The mounting screws were rusted, so they have all been replaced.
The bridge wood is cracked and chipped. There is an internal crack in the upper left corner of the clear plastic part of the head.
The binding has some color burn, but overall it is in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
There is no noticeable abnormality on the neck, and there are no problems with the playing condition.
