This is a silver plated Crampon S1 alto saxophone. The S1 model is highly regarded by classical players, but it also has an appealing character in jazz and pop music as well, and I think it can demonstrate the potential of the wind instrument well. The condition of the windpipe is good, with some of the clear lacquer peeling off, but the plating is still in good condition. The tone and other parts require some getting used to, but I think you will be able to enjoy the world view that only the S1 can produce to the fullest. All tampos have been replaced and adjusted.
