KIKUCHI GUITARS is a high-end brand founded by Mr. Kikuchi, a luthier from the period when Sadowky was produced in Japan.
This time we have a 4-string model of the MV series, which is synonymous with Kikuchi. A passive model has recently been released, but this time we have an active model.

The body is made of lightweight ash with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The total weight is 3.67kg, which is not so common for an active bass.
The preamp is a Kikuchi original, which is a perfect match for the ash wood. You can enjoy a trebly and crisp "typical" sound. Controls are 1Vol, Selecter, 1Tone, Treble/Bass, and active/passive can be switched by pushing/pulling the tone knob, a combination that is permeated with Kikuchi-ism.

The neck is of excellent quality, currently straight with plenty of frets remaining. There is no problem with the operation of the truss rod. The tuning is one of the strongest as it claims to be kept in its original condition.
The parts are lightly dulled, and there are some small abrasions scattered throughout the body, but there is not much sign of use.
