Ultimate Octave is a smooth fuzz distortion with a BC108 transistor that produces a strong and detailed fuzz drive.
The FAT/BRT (Bright) mini-switch changes the tone dramatically, with the Fat position producing a fat tone with a lot of midrange lift and presence.
In the Bright position, a smooth drive with a sparkle is added, giving a distortion nuance to the tone.
