Maple shell with excellent response and heavy hardware for lugs, strainers, etc.
The use of heavy hardware on the lugs and strainers produces an outstanding core thickness with a strong sense of presence.
The 3mm thick "True Hoop" produces just the right amount of tightness in an open resonance.
With a wide tuning range and a stable sound and tuning, this is a powerful and all-around very easy-to-handle unit.

The shell configuration uses VLT, which provides a stable sound even at low tunings, and the wide range typical of DW's wood snares with a thick core is appealing.

There are some scratches and stains, but it can still be used.
