This Les Paul Custom boasts a gorgeous appearance, featuring split diamond inlays on the headstock, multi-binding, and gold hardware. It has a maple top and mahogany body, a set-neck mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, diamond inlays on the headstock, and the words “Les Paul Model” on the truss rod cover.

Although it lacks the coil tap found on later models, this guitar is characterized by the classic, rich, and powerful sound of a standard Les Paul.

There is a misalignment in the mounting positions of the 5th and 1st string tuners, which appears to be present from the factory. Signs of use are visible (including dents on the edges of the body top and back, impact marks around the perimeter, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and playing lines, picking marks, fine paint cracks, and discoloration, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and nut groove correction). The fret heights are at a level that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
