USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / Studio 10Top Purple Hazel 2012 [10]

2012 Studio with SSH-like looks based on a Custom 22 with "Narrowfield" front and center has arrived!

The body top has beautiful content of 10 top grade PRS-like slender figured. Since it is a Custom 22 base, the slightly thicker body compared to the 24 is also not to be missed. Its coloring is Purple Hazel, but the purple tint has faded and aged to a grey-black burst look with a bit of blue. The neck is mahogany with a thin "Pattern Thin" shape. Narrowfield" pickups are used. Rear PU is "57/08" which has wide range and close to vintage tone, and can be coil-tapped by pulling the tone knob.

There are some picking scratches, mainly on the right side of the PU with a fine cloudiness. There are fine wiping scratches and scuffs all over the body top. The lower left side of the body is dotted with small dings and scratches, and there is also a small scratch on the side of the jack plate. There are some minor dings and scratches on the lower perimeter of the back of the body. There is a cloudy buckle scratch on the top of the tremolo back plate, and minor wiping and scratching scratches all over the body back. There are small paint peels on the tip of the head top and other areas. The nut has been replaced with a cow bone, and the frets have been replaced with Narrow Tall stainless steel frets. 13th fret fingerboard side has a toe shaped paint correction mark. It must have been corrected when the frets were re-fretted. Also, there is some clear floating and peeling around the high position of the first string fingerboard edge, but it does not feel like it is hitting or spreading. There is a toe scratch on the side of the front PU escutcheon screw.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some signs of use and aging, but they are not excessive and are minor. Although it does not have the royal PRS look, it has a unique sound and is a favorite of connoisseurs.

Neck condition is fine.
