EHB body ergonomically designed to fit the player in perfect balance whether standing or seated
The horns are shaped to balance the body and neck for easy holding when playing standing, and the body curve on the treble string side was designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The body surface is contoured to provide a sloping surface where the elbow touches the body.
The body edges that come into contact with the body are all smooth and rounded.
The back of the body is boldly cut to become thinner toward the bass strings.
This is designed to improve the fit when playing while seated and to allow for the angle of the eye when looking at the fingerboard inlays.
The back of the horn on the treble string side is cut in a scooped shape for easy access to the high frets.
Vari Mid 3 Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation "Variable frequency control for Mid EQ" indicates, this is an EQ with flexible mid control.
Normally, a 3-band EQ would be divided into three bands (HIGH/MID/LOW), and the developer would arbitrarily set the focus of the frequency range and control the boost or cut. The Vari Mid allows the user to arbitrarily set the focus of the midrange.
For example, the Mid can be set to 100Hz, which is roughly in the bass register, and boosted to compensate for the lack of bass.
