    New Finish for SR505E (5-string bass), the standard model of Ibanez SR series

    New "Chameleon Finish": BAB (Black Aurora Burst gloss), a color that changes depending on the angle from which you look at it.
    Slim and easy-to-grip shaping of the 5-pc jatoba and walnut neck, specially designed for the SR.
    Nut width is 45mm, and neck thickness at the 1st fret is less than 20mm. The end adjusters are used for easy adjustment.
    The SR body is made of Nyato wood, which has fat and warm low frequency characteristics, and both the top and back are molded in a 3-dimensional arch shape.
    This is an original shape that fits the body and minimizes stress. The top jack cavity is designed to minimize the risk of damage to the jack when placed on a stand.
    Active 3-band EQ with 3-pattern mid-band frequency switch and EQ bypass switch
    An equalizer that produces a wide-range, low-noise active sound, which is one of the SR's greatest features. (powered by 006P alkaline batteries)
    The mid-range frequency band, which is the key to the bass sound, can be switched between 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz by toggling the switch.
    The EQ bypass switch allows the bass to be used as a passive bass when the batteries run out. (When bypassed, the Treble knob controls the tone.)
    Accu-cast B505 bridge
    The saddle is movable by ±1.5mm in the left/right direction, allowing the pitch between strings to be set freely within a certain range.
    Bartolini BH2 pickups
    The Bartolini BH2 pickups are characterized by a warm, balanced response with a tight bottom end and rich midrange.

    またEQバイパス･スイッチ採用により、電池切れ時はパッシブ･ベースとして使用が可能です。(バイパス時：Trebleノブでトーン･コントロール)
