Poplar Burl Top / Nyatoh Body
The body top is crafted from poplar burl with a beautiful grain pattern.
The body is crafted from Nyatoh, which excels in producing rich mid-to-low frequencies.
Wizard C 3-piece Roasted Maple/Bubinga neck
It features a standard neck shape that is “neither too thick nor too thin,” allowing it to accommodate a variety of playing styles.
The 3-piece construction of roasted maple and bubinga provides excellent stability and durability.
Roasted Birdseye Maple Fretboard
The fretboard is made of roasted birdseye maple, which is birdseye maple that has been heat-treated to bring out its unique, bird’s-eye-like pattern.
The heat treatment process removes excess moisture and oils from the wood, increasing its strength.
“Q58” H-H Pickups
An HH configuration of the “Q58” humbucker pickups, developed specifically for the “Q” series.
It is designed to deliver a well-balanced sound across the entire frequency range, making it easy to shape the tone with effects pedals and other gear.
The low end is powerful without being muddy, and the high end is clear yet mellow.
Additionally, it features low noise and pairs exceptionally well with both digital and analog effects pedals.
dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch
With the flick of a mini-switch, you can freely toggle between humbucker and single-coil modes, producing 10 different sound variations.

In Power Tap mode, a special wiring configuration taps one coil while preserving the low-end of the other, resulting in clear high frequencies and a thick, well-defined sound that cannot be achieved with a standard tap. This switching system is ideal for today’s guitarists, who must fill multiple roles with limited gear.
Custom String Lock
Ibanez’s newly developed “Custom String Lock” features a simple, integrated design.
It offers excellent durability and makes string changes easy.
It also does not require special strings, so you can use your favorite gauge and brand of strings.
Mono Tune Bridges
It offers a wide range of intonation adjustment, making it easy to set the guitar to tuning one semitone lower or even lower.
Action adjustment is also easy. By minimizing the number of parts in the saddle, it delivers a natural sound that brings out the guitar’s inherent resonance.
