The Low B model of the classic SansAmp Bass Driver DI is here—now compatible with down-tuned and 5-string basses!!
The development of this product embodies Tech21’s history and evolution. The SansAmp Classic, developed in the late 1980s, became a staple for bass guitarists, leading to the release of the BASS DRIVER DI (hereinafter BASS-DI) in 1992.
It’s been over 20 years since the BASS-DI became an essential tool for bass players. During that time, the low-end of music has changed dramatically, and 5- and 6-string basses—which deliver heavy low-end—have become increasingly prominent. The DI-LB was designed to retain the essence of the BASS-DI while ensuring clear reproduction even when heavily driving the root note of a 5-string bass. Additionally, gain has been added to push out the deep bass even more powerfully. At NAMM 2014, All Access proposed the LB model.
President Andrew Barta personally developed it, and the resulting model is the BASS DRIVER DI-LB. This is a Japan-exclusive model—we hope you enjoy it.
