USED KRAMER / DMZ-5000 Fretless [05]

This model was manufactured around 1980. Its most distinctive feature is undoubtedly the aluminum neck. It’s a very sturdy neck and does not have a truss rod. This is a fretless model.

It features a PJ pickup configuration, but an additional pickup has been installed in the bridge position, allowing for a wide variety of sounds. Controls include front volume and tone, and rear volume and tone. The large switch is the pickup selector; the mini-switches control the bridge pickup’s wiring modes—series, parallel, and tap (output from the neck side only). The other mini-switch is believed to be a direct switch.

Currently, the neck has a slight forward bow, and the body shows numerous marks that appear to be repairs for cracks and scratches. A SELVA gig bag is included.
