A beautiful Stratocaster crafted by O'Tin McNaught has arrived!!

The first thing that catches your eye is undoubtedly its stunning appearance. The 5A Quilt Top and Caribbean Blue Burst color blend together beautifully, giving it a particularly striking presence even among Custom Shop models.

It features a luxurious spec: a “2PC Alder” body with a “NOS” finish in “Urethane” paint, and a “Quilt Maple 5A” top.The neck features a “Maple Roasted Flame 4A” (4A-grade roasted maple) with an “LTTINT WLS” finish, and the fingerboard is crafted from “Flat LAM AAA Rosewood.”

The fingerboard radius is a “10-14 Compound Radius,” and the neck shape is “Modern C to D.” It features 22 frets made of “Jescar Stainless #6100.” Other meticulous details include an L.S.R. nut, mother-of-pearl position markers, and locking tuners.

It is equipped with two Ultra Noiseless Hot Strat pickups and one EVH Frankenstein HB pickup.
Controls include a master volume, tone (front and middle), and a no-load tone (bridge). The master volume knob also functions as the S1 switch for the front pickup.

Although there are some scratches on the back of the body, there are virtually no signs of wear, and it’s in excellent condition. Of course, it plays exceptionally well.

Shortly after taking up the guitar at age 10, he began modifying guitars to improve their playability and tone. Throughout his teens, he honed his skills in guitar assembly and repair, working as a repair technician for many local bands.After graduating from high school in Saskatoon, Austin enrolled at the Guitar Craft Academy in Hollywood, where he further honed his guitar-making skills and deepened his passion for the craft. His talent was recognized, and he was offered a teaching position immediately upon completing the course. While teaching guitar making for five years, he met Ron Thorn at an inlay seminar and was soon invited to work at Thorn Guitars.Austin spent 11 years crafting boutique electric guitars under the Thorn brand. From selecting and processing the wood to operating CNC machines, fretwork, and the final assembly, Austin handled every step of the process. He is now once again working side-by-side with an old friend who crafts the finest instruments for the Fender Custom Shop.
