USED Applause by Ovation / AE48-1I Super Shallow Cutaway Honeyburst Satin [2021]

This is the Applause AE48-1I, a super-shallow-body, multi-soundhole model from Applause by Ovation.

Featuring a rounded back body inherited from higher-end models, this Applause model boasts a laminated spruce top, X-bracing, a nato neck, an oban wood fingerboard, and the CE304T preamp with built-in tuners.

With the series’ thinnest “Super Shallow” body, this electro-acoustic guitar is highly maneuverable and easy to play.

There are signs of use (scratches, play lines, picking marks, tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

Setup was performed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, fret leveling, fret edge smoothing, and nut groove correction for the 3rd string). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has approximately 40° of adjustment remaining on the tightening side, confirming it is in good working order.
