A rare snare drum from the era when they were made in Japan!

The Birch Custom Absolute Series, released in the early 2000s.
It features the unique “Nouveau” lugs, which preserve the shell’s natural resonance and allow for quick head changes.

With its all-birch 6-ply shell, it delivers a well-balanced sound, combining a solid mid-to-low range with the crisp, lively tone characteristic of a smaller-diameter drum!

While there are some scratches, pitting on parts, and graffiti inside the shell, it functions perfectly as-is and is still fully usable!
