The EURUS GS-1 blends BOSS’s guitar synthesizer technology, honed over many years, with modern playability. This particular model is based on that high-quality guitar body and has been upgraded with the “GK5-KIT-G6” divided pickup kit for 6-string guitars.
It features an alder body paired with a maple neck and an Indian rosewood fingerboard, featuring a 12–16-inch compound radius. It offers modern, user-friendly playability that handles everything from chord work in the low positions to technical playing in the high positions.
For standard guitar tones, it is equipped with two specially designed EURUS humbuckers. The 5-way selector switch allows you to switch between a wide range of sounds, from rich, full-bodied humbucker tones to crisp, single-coil-style tones. With a deep, rich front pickup, a rear pickup offering definition and power, and a clear, well-defined sound in the mix position, this guitar offers high practicality as a standard electric guitar.
A GK Divided Pickup, which detects the signal from each string individually, is mounted near the bridge. By connecting it via a dedicated cable to Serial GK-compatible devices such as the BOSS GM-800 or VG-800, you can utilize guitar synthesizers and V-Guitar systems.
The body is equipped with a GK VOL control, S1/S2 control switches, a GUITAR/MIX/GK selector switch, and an operation indicator LED. You can control both standard guitar tones and synth sounds from external devices right at your fingertips, enabling flexible sound design for live performances and recording.
We have confirmed through hands-on testing that, when connected to a BOSS GM-800, the GK functions—including the Serial GK output—operate normally.
There are some dents on the side of the body and slight paint chips around the cavity, but there is little other noticeable damage, and it is in clean condition, having been cleaned and set up.
