Introducing the Red Label “FGX5 GLOSS” with a gloss finish body!

The FG/FS Red Label series retains the appealing mid-to-low frequencies of the original 1960s FG models. By applying A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) processing to carefully selected Sitka spruce and utilizing specially developed scalloped bracing, it delivers a powerful sound born from deep bass and rich harmonics.

This newly released model features a gloss finish across the entire body, resulting in a more luxurious appearance and a brilliant sound. The pickup-equipped model incorporates the 3-Way PU System Atmosfeel, highly acclaimed for its natural acoustic sound, and delivers excellent performance even on stage.

Yamaha’s original jumbo body shape delivers rich volume and natural mid-to-low-range resonance. The sound is ideal for chord strumming and flatpicking.
Through repeated refinements utilizing proprietary scalloped bracing and the latest acoustic analysis simulation technology, it achieves an ideal warm tone and rich low end
The top features solid Sitka spruce treated with A.R.E., producing a mature sound reminiscent of a guitar played for many years.
