A 1977 Epiphone Emperor J Thin. This authentic jazz guitar combines the rich resonance of a large hollow body with the excellent playability unique to a thin-body design.

In addition to the full, warm tone produced by its 17-inch-class body, this guitar features a rich, full-bodied sound courtesy of its two humbucker pickups. The two-volume, two-tone control configuration allows for a wide range of expression, from classic jazz clean tones to bluesy nuances.

It also features the glamorous looks characteristic of the Emperor series of that era, including beautiful headstock inlays, body binding, and gold hardware. Thanks to its thin-body design, it possesses the distinctive presence of a full-acoustic guitar while remaining highly maneuverable, making it easy to handle on stage and in the recording studio.

This is a rare full-acoustic guitar that lets you enjoy the craftsmanship unique to 1970s Epiphone and the authentic archtop sound.
There are cracks and some chips along the entire binding. Weather checking is also visible throughout the finish.
As expected for its age, it shows significant signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and discoloration or rust on some parts.
The frets are currently set slightly low, but this does not affect playability.
