Based on the guitar favored by B’z guitarist Takahiro Matsumoto, this is part of the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom series. It features a traditional construction combining a mahogany body with a maple top, along with a long tenon joint, resulting in a solid tone and rich sustain.

The neck features a shape based on the ’59 Rounded C, slightly slimmed down to retain a vintage feel while ensuring modern playability. Equipped with two Burstbucker PRO pickups, it delivers a sound that combines a thick midrange with excellent clarity. The electronics are also top-notch, featuring CTS pots, a Grey Tiger capacitor, and ’50s-style wiring, ensuring that every nuance of your playing is faithfully reproduced.

The bridge features a wrap-around design faithful to the 1955 specification. This allows direct string vibration to transfer to the body, producing a quick response and a tone with a solid core. Combined with the elegant “Antique Gold” finish, this guitar is a highly polished instrument in both appearance and sound.

Based on a vintage style yet enhanced for practicality, this well-balanced guitar is a versatile model that performs exceptionally well across a wide range of genres.
