The SDE-3000D faithfully reproduces this distinctive sound while offering even greater versatility to meet modern needs.Housed in a floor-type chassis designed for direct control, it features two stereo-capable SDE-3000 units. With internal chaining options (series or parallel) and a comprehensive array of input and output jacks, it enables a wide range of sound design possibilities. It also supports up to 100 presets, as well as MIDI and external controller expansion, allowing you to master its iconic sound with complete freedom.

This iconic sound character is created by the musical effects produced by its analog components and circuit design.By meticulously reproducing every stage of the process—including the subtle changes in frequency response introduced by the head amp section, the distortion caused by magnetic saturation in the low-pass filter section, and the unique fluctuations produced by the parts used in the original unit—the SDE-3000D achieves a sound and behavior that are extremely faithful to the original.
Unprecedented Precision in Reproduction

The SDE-3000D not only reproduces the sound of the original but also faithfully recreates its parameters, allowing you to shape your sound just as you could back then. Furthermore, even the secondary behaviors of each setting are reproduced, so the frequency response changes depending on the delay time value. At the same time, improvements have been made to cater to modern musicians.The feedback loop featured in the original has been recreated as an internal function. Without adding an external pedal, you can apply the same frequency response as the original—or any EQ setting of your choice—to the delay signal. It also supports a “carryover” setting that maintains the delay signal even when the effect is turned off. Memory capacity for saving created sounds has been significantly expanded to a maximum of 100 presets.

The SDE-3000D houses two SDE-3000 units—each with stereo input and output capabilities—within a single unit, and the parameters for each can be set independently.A wide range of sound-shaping possibilities is available: for example, you can connect the two units in series with different delay time settings to create complex rhythms, or connect them in parallel with slightly offset delay times to achieve a wide, expansive stereo sound. Additionally, its flexible input and output terminals support not only mono and stereo but also separate wet and dry outputs, offering high versatility to suit a wide range of usage environments.
Highly Versatile Foot Control

Unlike the rack-mounted SDE-3000, the SDE-3000D features a pedal-type design that excels in real-time operability. It is also easier to integrate into a pedalboard.The unit’s footswitch allows you to turn effects on and off during a performance, switch between memory presets, and set TAP TEMPO—and it also offers momentary control, a feature not found on the original model. It supports MIDI input and output, making it convenient for precise setups within an effects switching system. Furthermore, it features high expandability, allowing you to connect multiple external footswitches, expression pedals, or the GA-FC foot controller to significantly expand its control capabilities.
