USED Ibanez / TS-808 Tube Screamer RC4558P MALAYSIA [12]

Introduced in 1979 as the original Tube Screamer, this is Ibanez’s iconic vintage overdrive pedal.
This unit is from the “R Mark” era and features the MP-D01201B circuit board and an RC4558P MALAYSIA tube. The capacitor date is 1980, making it highly authentic, and it features a DC jack without a washer. Its smooth, warm overdrive sound and rich midrange are still highly regarded today, and it is known as a legendary “Holy Grail” pedal that continues to captivate countless blues guitarists.
While it shows signs of wear commensurate with its age, it functions perfectly. The footswitch has been replaced. The exterior shows scratches and paint peeling, the case has a small crack, and the metal parts have some tarnish. As is common with these models, the battery compartment lid is slightly loose and may be difficult to close. It takes a bit of a knack to secure it properly, but it can be closed as is. Overall, it remains in good condition for a vintage model.
