A used AXIS Limited Edition—a Japan-exclusive model featuring a special "Trans Gold" finish—has arrived.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the AXIS’s release, this limited-edition model—produced by KORG IMPORT DIVISION (KID), MUSICMAN’s importer in Japan—features special colors and specifications not found in the current catalog.

The body top features beautiful quilted maple and is finished in the most popular Trans-Gold color.
The body sides and back feature the “Chocolate Brown” color, which was also used on the 20th-anniversary model and was a defining characteristic of the early models.

The Axis features a uniquely designed body with a maple top and basswood back, along with an asymmetrical neck grip polished to an extremely smooth finish.

With its ultra-three-dimensional 3D figured quilted maple top, basswood body, and maple grain that shimmers across the entire neck—a feature rarely seen in recent years—this is a guitar that truly embodies the essence of MUSICMAN and will satisfy even the most devoted AXIS fans.

It features the AXIS’s signature compact body shape—known for its excellent playability—and a distinctive asymmetrical neck grip that’s thicker on the 6th-string side. Furthermore, the grip section is finished with an oil-satin coating, offering stress-free playability and a sense of security even during long performances.

With a robust selection of components—including Schaller tuners and direct-mounted DiMarzio humbuckers—it delivers a crisp, clear sound with defined edges and smooth sustain that won’t get muddled even under heavy distortion.
Despite its simple control layout, this guitar never feels lacking in any way.
It shows minimal signs of use—just a few minor scratches—and is in excellent condition.
It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and its playability is excellent.
