HAMER USA's top-of-the-line model has arrived.
The California Elite—HAMER’s flagship model—was introduced in the 1970s and was a favorite among hard rock artists from the late 1980s through the 1990s.

Featuring a two-piece curly maple body, a slim-profile three-piece maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard, this model comes in 24- to 27-fret configurations.
It is characterized by its exceptionally smooth, hand-finished cutaways on both sides, ensuring excellent playability even in the higher frets.
Additionally, the boomerang inlays on the fingerboard are set to straddle the frets, serving as a testament to both its sophisticated design and superior craftsmanship.

The neck and headstock have also been meticulously chamfered, and the high level of woodworking craftsmanship unique to handmade instruments ensures a finish that reliably supports fast, technical hard rock playing.

While this model was previously available with both EMG and Seymour Duncan pickup options, the unit currently in stock comes standard with Seymour Duncan pickups—a Tremstack in the front and a Trembucker in the rear—making it ideal for heavy sounds.

There are numerous buckle marks on the back of the body, and there is rubber burn marks from a guitar stand on the neck grip at the 10th fret.
There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, and some plating has worn off on parts of the hardware, such as the bridge.
The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller locking pins, but the strap attachment hardware is missing.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and its playability is excellent.
