The 40th Anniversary Custom 24-08 Semi-Hollow Limited Edition commemorates the 40th anniversary of PRS.

The Custom 24-08 inherits the core specifications of the original Custom 24, which was born in 1985 as the flagship model of PRS, and is equipped with the latest TCI pickups and an EQ mini-toggle switch to create a more versatile sound. The Limited Edition features special features such as semi-hollow construction, Ziricote fingerboard and headstock veneers, and "old school" bird inlays that differ from the regular model.

This model features a 10-top grade figured maple top, mahogany back and neck, and a ziricote fingerboard, all of which have undergone PRS' proprietary wood drying process, resulting in a stable neck that is resistant to environmental changes and a body that maximizes string vibration. In addition, the semi-hollow construction with f-holes produces an elegant look as well as a quality tone with depth and dimension.

The latest TCI pickups, a key feature of this model, use new American-made Alnico magnets and updated manufacturing methods to create a sound with more core and musical resonance than ever before. In addition, two EQ mini-toggle switches act as high-pass filters that, when turned on, shelve the low frequencies and make the high frequencies sound more articulate and musical.

The 24-fret, 25-inch scale neck, familiar to all PRS players, provides an intuitive sense of high playability from the moment you pick it up, while the original Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners ensure high tuning stability.

The guitar is in beautiful condition with only minor playing scratches and minimal signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in perfect condition.
