The TM95 Tak Matsumoto Cry Baby is the first Japanese signature model.
While based on the traditional Cry Baby sound, a mode selection function has been added that can be switched from the internal mini-switch and external footswitch. Mode 1 is a crisp cutting mode with a slight emphasis on the upper register. Mode 2 is for lead playing, utilizing the crybaby-like midrange. A highly visible LED on the heel allows the user to check the mode selection status and effect ON/OFF status at a glance.
Also, at Takahiro Matsumoto's request, the sweep point (the point at which the pedal is depressed from midrange to high) is set slightly before the maximum depression angle in Mode 2 for more aggressive wah play. A fine tuning system is also included to cut off the high frequencies when the pedal is depressed to its maximum, which can be adjusted with the internal trim.
The input/output section has a built-in buffer circuit designed by George Trips, making this a special model that does not compromise Takashi Matsumoto's sound and stage presence in any way.
There are some scratches, stains, and other signs of use, but there are no problems with operation.
