USED Epiphone / Genesis Custom 1980 Vintage Sunburst [12]

The original 1980 Epiphone Genesis is now in stock.
This 1980 Genesis Custom is the original version of Epiphone's original solid guitar "Genesis," which was reissued in 2013.

The production started in Matsumoku, Nagano, Japan in 1979, then moved to Pearl Drum factory in Taiwan, where it was produced for a short period of 3 years until 1981.
The new arrival is believed to have been made in Taiwan in 1980, according to the serial number.

Solid mahogany body with short horn double cutaway and arched top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets.

It is equipped with two original humbuckers and is coil-tapped with a mini-switch.

This model is very rare to find used, as it was manufactured for only three years.
There are some minor scratches and dings scattered throughout, and the hardware is dull.
The neck is twisted and wavy, and the truss rod has been set up with fret rubbing because there is little room to tighten it, but there are few frets left.
The bridge, pots, switch and jack have all been replaced (original parts except the bridge are included) due to parts deterioration.
